Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all products and services offered by Elephaant ("we," "our," or "us"), including mobile applications, web applications, SaaS platforms, and other software products (collectively, the "Services"). As we operate multiple products — each of which may be hosted on its own subdomain or platform — this policy serves as the general framework for all refunds and cancellations across Elephaant products. Individual products may have additional terms that supplement this policy. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Subscription Cancellation
If you have subscribed to any of our paid Services, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how cancellation works:
- You can cancel directly through the account settings within the respective product, or by contacting us at hello@elephaant.com.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining days of an active billing period unless otherwise stated for a specific product.
- Once cancelled, your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or be deactivated, depending on the product.
2. Refund Eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with our products. Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:
- Within 7 days of purchase: If you are not satisfied with a paid product or subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or subscription start date.
- Service outage or defect: If you experience a significant service outage, bug, or defect that prevents you from using the core functionality of a product, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
- Duplicate or accidental charges: If you were charged more than once for the same service, or if an accidental charge occurred, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate or erroneous amount.
- Unauthorized transactions: If a charge was made without your authorization, please contact us immediately and we will investigate and process a refund if appropriate.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscription fees after the 7-day refund window has passed.
- One-time purchases (such as lifetime plans, credits, or consumable in-app purchases) after the 7-day period, unless a defect is demonstrated.
- Services that have been fully consumed or utilized (e.g., API credits, data exports, or generated content).
- Free trial conversions where no cancellation was made before the trial ended (though you may still cancel to prevent future charges).
- Promotional or discounted purchases, unless the product is defective.
4. App Store Purchases
If you purchased a subscription or made an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or any other third-party app store, your refund is governed by the respective store's refund policy. We do not have the ability to process refunds for purchases made through these platforms. Please contact the app store directly to request a refund:

- Google Play Store: Request a refund through Google Play Help
To cancel a subscription purchased through an app store, you must cancel directly through your device's subscription settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel your subscription.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a purchase made directly through our website or product (not through an app store), please follow these steps:
- Send an email to hello@elephaant.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your full name, the email address associated with your account, the product name, and your order/transaction ID.
- Provide a brief reason for the refund request.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
- If you do not see the refund reflected in your account after 10 business days, please contact your bank or payment provider first, then reach out to us if the issue persists.
7. Free Trials
Some of our products offer free trial periods. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription plan you selected. No refunds will be issued for charges that occur due to failure to cancel before the trial expires. We will send you a reminder before your trial ends (where technically feasible) to give you the opportunity to cancel.
8. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change the pricing of our products and subscriptions. If a price increase affects your active subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance before the new price takes effect. If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
9. Product-Specific Refund Terms
Individual Elephaant products may have additional or modified refund terms specific to that product. These product-specific terms will be communicated within the respective product's purchase flow, subscription page, or documentation.
In the event of a conflict between this general Refund & Cancellation Policy and a product-specific refund policy, the product-specific policy shall prevail for that product.
10. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension or termination of your account. We are committed to resolving any billing issues fairly and promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through our Services or via email.
